​Rocket City Rowing was founded in 1996 by a group of UAH alumni who wanted to continue to enjoy the sport of rowing after graduating. Our rowing programs create opportunities for fitness and personal growth as we define and redefine ourselves through the course of our lives

Rocket City Rowing Club offers competitive and recreational rowing opportunities for novice and experienced rowers on the Tennessee River in Huntsville Alabama. We provide equipment and programs ranging in intensity from casual recreational rowing to competitive rowing for North Alabama residents aged 12 and up.

Learn to Row opportunities are offered to introduce young people of all ages to the sport of rowing. We have an active recreational and competitive programs for adults. Our youth program is currently inactive.
